Process

6 Easy Steps

Purchasing vehicles at a Japanese Dealer Car Auction through Auto House is very easy and straight forward. This guide has been designed to assist you in your vehicle purchase.

STEP 1: Find Cars

USS Auction Free Trial (Login ID: Y23222) - No Registration Required
Please search for your vehicle at USS auction where you will be able to view 40,000 vehicles offered each week.
When searching, do not use the inquiry form appearing on the database page. Instead, only use the Auto House Inquiry Form.

Search for Your Car at the Japanese Dealer Car Auctions

Please search for your vehicle from 150,000 vehicles each week at 103 auction houses and check if your target vehicles are available for sale at the Japanese auctions.

STEP 2: Find Price

Check the Dealer Auction's Latest Results (Wholesale Prices)

Please review a database of 400,000 vehicles' auction results of the past three months and check how much your target vehicle will go for by comparing similar vehicles, e.g. similar model, year, auction grade, color and kms on the database.

STEP 3: Send a Deposit

A refundable deposit is required for placing a bid on a vehicle at Auto House auction agent service. So please send your deposit after you decide to buy a vehicle from the Japanese Dealer Auctions through Auto House. After we have confirmed your deposit, you will be able to access the Gold Member page and be in a position to purchase a vehicle.

Sending your Deposit to Begin the Buying Process

You can know the detailed steps for sending your deposit, receiving your confirmation email from Auto House, and beginning your buying process.

After submitting this form, you will receive Auto House's bank information by email. Please carefully review the information and send your deposit by Telegraphic Transfer (Bank Transfer).

STEP 4: Check Quality

Searching for Your Vehicle and Submitting a Detailed Information Request

You can know the detailed process from searching for your vehicle to checking the details of the vehicle's condition.

After submitting this form, you will receive an English translation of the auction sheet. (If your target vehicle is available at USS auction, you will also receive the vehicle's auction sheet.)
Please carefully review the information and decide if you want to bid on the vehicle and how much your max. bidding price will be.

STEP 5: Bid & Buy

Submitting an Auction Bidding Request

You can know the detailed process of submitting your bidding request, Auto House performing its pre-bidding inspection, and then bidding on your target vehicle.

Please submit your bidding request through this form.

Receiving Your Auction Result

You can know the detailed process of receiving your auction result.

Successful Bidder: You will need to pay your balance payment within four days, including the day of the auction, after your bid has been successful.
If you will not continue purchasing more vehicles, you can deduct your deposit from the final payment.

Unsuccessful Bidder: We will continue to support your auction process until your bid is successful.

STEP 6: Shipping

After winning your bid, we will have an after-purchase inspection performed at a port yard. Once we determine there are no major faults, we will de-register your vehicle and prepare it for shipment. This entire process of purchasing a vehicle to loading it on a ship generally takes about 3-8 weeks.
