Why Dealer Car Auctions?
The BEST PRICE, The HIGHEST QUALITY and The WIDEST SELECTION!
What is the Japanese Dealer Car Auction?
The Japanese Dealer Car Auction is a place where car dealers sell their trade-in cars and unwanted inventory
to other dealers, and hunt for fresh used-cars for retail sale.
Only dealers with car dealer licenses authorized by the Japanese Government can attend this auction.
At the Dealer Car Auction, the dealer's main purpose for selling a vehicle is the dealer's QUICK TURNING OVER of an
unwanted vehicle, such as over-aged inventory and unwanted trade-in, into money. Speed does matter but
the profit does not matter as much to the dealer in these transactions.
Therefore, every vehicle is sold for the dealer's wholesale price.
The dealer's wholesale price is the closest price to the trade-in value, i.e. the bottom basement price
in the Japanese used-car market.
In this auction, there are also NO PRIVATE BUYERS who get caught up in the auction excitement and end up selling close to retail.
The dealer's wholesale prices are maintained by keeping non-professional buyers from the auction.
The Japanese Dealer Auction house acts as a third party between a buyer and a seller,
and it is their aim to establish fair and transparent trades at the used-car market.
In this auction, the auction house's inspectors perform unbiased and professional inspections
which reveal even hidden problems in every auctioned vehicle and their findings are reported on an auction sheet.
You can know everything about your target vehicle through the auction sheet.
In the auction purchasing process, the time to learn about the vehicle's true condition and risk of future problems
is BEFORE YOU BUY, NOT AFTER.
In Japan, when people purchase a new vehicle, almost everyone sells their older vehicle to a dealer as a trade-in.
Vehicles are rarely traded privately through newspaper ads, car magazines, or the Internet.
Sellers really do not like private sales because they want to save themselves time, effort
and potential post-sale headaches. Also, buyers want to avoid purchasing a vehicle which has hidden problems.
More than 90% of the total number of used vehicles are purchased by dealers as trade-ins
and approximately 80% of the trade-ins, 150,000 vehicles per week, are available at the Dealer Car Auction.
Japanese dealers or your local dealers will have a limited number of cars in their inventory
but the Japanese Dealer Car Auction has no such restrictions.
You will certainly find a vehicle which best matches your needs through auction databases
so you will not need to compromise on the color, type, make and condition of the vehicle.
