Human Translation of An Auction Sheet
You can decide on your vehicle after you have examined the vehicle's condition report, i.e. an auction sheet, created by the auction house's unbiased professional inspectors.

Furthermore, we provide you with a human translation of the auction sheet.
We never use automatic translation software.

In a Japanese Dealer Car Auction, you can know the rough condition of a vehicle through an auction grade even if you cannot read Japanese.
So many foreign buyers are choosing their vehicles based solely on this auction grade.
However, each auction sheet includes notes by an auction house's inspector, called an inspector's report, which contains important information on the vehicle's condition
For example, this report lists major mechanical trouble, such as engine knocking or a slipping transmissison, and/or other major body problems, such as major accident damage or major rust damage, yet this inspector's report is written in Japanese.

Our human translation of the auction sheet provides you with a clearer picture of the true condition of your target vehicle.
Learning correctly about a vehicle's detailed condition by an accurate translation is a vital key to the success of purchasing your vehicle.

Auto House Pre-Bidding/After-Purchase Inspections
Auto House performs our own pre-bidding inspection before we bid on your target vehicle.

In the Japanese Dealer Car Auction, all listed vehicles are inspected by the auction house's inspectors.
However, in the vehicles' inspection proccess, each inspector must examine more than 80-100 vehicles per day allowing 5-10 minutes per vehicle inspection.
This factor can cause some oversights, and the skill and experience of each inspector can also affect the final inspection result.

The Japanese Dealer Car Auction houses, containing over 40 companies, do not have common inspection standards. So their inspection standards are similar but slightly different between each company.
This factor can cause differences in auction grades e.g. some auction houses give an auction grade "R" (accident damage) to a vehicle but other auction houses may give an auction grade "RA" (minor accident damage) or a "3" to the same vehicle.

On the day of the auction, Auto House will perform our pre-bidding inspection and confirm whether your target vehicle is in the same condition as to what is stated on the auction sheet, and then send you our inspection report by email.
If you can communicate with us in a timely manner, you will be able to adjust your max. bid price after you have examined our pre-bidding inspection report.

If we discover a major discrepancy between a vehicle's auction sheet and its actual condition, we will withdraw the bid on the vehicle as per our judgement even if we cannot communicate with you.

Our pre-bidding inspection provides you with a clearer picture of the true condition of your target vehicle, allowing you to make a more informed decision concerning the purchasing of your vehicle.
What does Auto House cover in the Pre-Bidding Inspection?
Auto House also will perform our own after-purchase inspection after we have purchased your vehicle.

At an auction house's yard, the vehicles are placed wall-to-wall with only enough space for one or two people to pass between each vehicle. So we would have to perform our pre-bidding inspection in a situation where we cannot move the vehicle.

Therefore, after winning a bid at auction, we will transport your vehicle to a port yard and have an after-purchase inspection performed to double-check your vehicle's condition.

Auto House auction agent services have various safety nets to protect you from buying problematic vehicles.
